Which method for which job

Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh stencil, one screen per color. Setup is the expensive part, so cost per shirt drops sharply with volume — right for company family days, safety milestones, school spirit wear, team apparel and community event tees.

Embroidery stitches the design in thread from a digitized file. No screens means small runs are economical and the finish outlives the garment. It belongs on work shirts, polos, fleece, jackets and caps worn shift after shift. Fine detail is its limit — text under about a quarter inch closes up.
