Do you know someone who works outdoors? You probably do! Over 47% of the US population has a job that is centered outside. Park rangers, construction workers, and municipal employees all fall under the category of an outdoor worker. Being outside in various degrees and types of weather means safety gear and warm, stylish apparel are appreciated and useful.

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer! That means you should be thinking about ways to make sure that your worker’s safety gear is updated with sleek reflective details. Reflective detailing increases visibility and keeps your folks safe regardless of what time of night they might be working.

Safety vests come in a few different levels. A class 1 safety vest provides reflective material, and is better suited for bright day time settings. A Class 2 or ANSI Class 3 safety vest provides high visibility and can be used in any poor visibility setting. It’s a federal law for construction workers who are working on a federal roadway to wear a class 2 or 3 safety vest for safety. Add your own personal touch with your brand’s logo, or consider adding your employees names for a gift that is truly made with your team in mind.

Safety gear for our outdoor workers come in small packages, too. Consider doing a flashlight giveaway, printing your brand on tape measures, or even creating a customized first aid kit with your logo or adding it on the side of a pair of safety glasses.

With eye protection, fit and weight are important to consider. Lightweight eyewear that offers a narrower fit – traditionally for smaller faces – is a major 2020-2021 trend. Safety gear and workwear are not going away any time soon. Make sure to jump on some of these trends today!
